2012: Relationship between the mind and the physical

This is something I’ve always seen as being generally unnoticed and ignored, and what cause so much harm and bullshit in everyones life. Which is: what exactly does the mind is, and what is the relationship between the mind and the physical reality.

We have a tendency to identify ourselves with our mind. And thorough centuries many cultures has created many ideas and beliefs about the mind, and the nature of ‘who we are’. We have all the beliefs in the soul, in the afterlife — which concepts are the basis of a variety of belief systems and religions. In the ‘mind over matter’ arena we have teachers and gurus that claim that one can ‘bend the spoon’ of reality through mastering certain techniques, behaviors or approaches to life. From western authors and motivational speakers, through masters/gurus from the east, to channellings. All those things are centered around concepts that define the mind as superior in relationship to the physical substance/reality. It’s basically all concentrated around the same concept: control.

The want to control reality with our mind. The idea that somehow there is a connection between what we think — and the substance/reality that we live in day by day, breath by breath. Now here we can digress a little and have a look at what is the reason that we so blindly look to have control over our reality — which is — fear. A desperate want to control something that we cannot control — obviously comes from fear. Without fear — there would be no obsession to control reality. And I call it an obsession — because to make out gods, and all kinds of ideas in the mind, and to blindly believe in them, even gather together and build buildings to do that just shows how much fear obsessed we are. All because we think that through prayer we can control reality with our minds.

Which in itself (the extensive fear) shows that we realize the relationship between the mind and reality. That the mind is completely inferior to reality, and is just a ‘simulation box’ in which we live in, but it is completely separated from reality, and has no impact on it. What has impact on reality is what we do through physical substance that we also consist of (our hands, voice, bodies etc.). The part that is ‘real’ by it’s very relationship with reality is the physical/substance part of us. The mind is something that is there controlling the physical — yet has no direct impact on substance. Which creates the great fear, that all religions try to comfort. The fear about death of us, as the mind.

So in a way all beliefs and ideas about afterlife, and the superiority of the mind over matter function as ways to hide/suppress the fear that we experience when realizing the nature of the relationship between the mind and physical substance. Therefore all such beliefs and ideas, are evil by their very nature. Because they serve as a way to escape seeing who we are in fact and who and what every other living being is. In other words, instead of realizing what is obvious we run in delusion to suppress the fear, that the physical reality shows us ‘in our face’. And in that attempt to escape we destroy and harm other living beings.

Because, to run away from the realization of the obvious nature between the physical and the mind — is to deny to see reality and life. As life is dependent and based on physical substance — not the mind. Life is in every plant and in every bug. Yet in our minds we don’t even value that, as that is what we have been taught. And how come have we allowed ourselves to believe that life is not valuable? That plants, or bugs don’t feel or experience equally to a dog or a cat for instance? How come we have categorized animals for which we care, and those that we don’t care about? It’s all in the mind. It’s all in the beliefs we hold.  And it all shows and explain very well, what is the nature of beliefs. They are ideas that we hold to and impose in our perception unto reality. Even though they are not part of reality. But the mind allows and support us to continue believing in anything we might want — BECAUSE it has no connection to reality.

The very fact that we can believe ‘what we want’ shows that we have no connection with reality through our minds. It shows that when beliefs are held over the physical — it’s the basis of abuse of the physical. Because life is not in the mind. Life is and is based on what is physical. Therefore, when anyone is saying to hold beliefs over anything — it’s like saying ‘don’t look at those that suffer, just forget about living beings’. Because what every living thing experience here on this earth, has nothing to do with beliefs. It is what it is in fact. It has nothing to do with any bullshit story people conjure up for any personal reason.

And so we end up with the world as we know it today. When we as people cannot even agree unto a direction for the world in anyway whatsoever — it’s extremely difficult even for two people to really agree about what they think about reality. A world where blinded mesmerized zombies walk and rule over this planet without any direction, each mesmerized by their own bubble of reality that they hold in their head. Oblivious to reality and what is really going on, as long as it doesn’t affect them and their individual bubble-reality built up in the mind. And if it does, then the person in trouble is left alone. Because the other ‘mesmerized zombies’ are to busy with their personal beliefs, opinions and  experiences. And because they are ‘free to believe what they want’ — they conveniently establish belief systems, that exclude those who ‘failed’ or had ‘bad luck’ in the world system. And that works as long as it’s not you… Then, well then you’ll get excluded, and people will become ‘blind’ to your case, because their belief systems where they try to deny their fear will kick in as defense mechanisms that they develop so strongly for their entire lives.

I would say that it’s more reasonable to have a look how we as people, as the beings responsible for how this world is set up — to see what is going on, stop denying it, and agree to a direction and solution that needs to be taken, so life won’t be less then money (as it currently is). Money should be just a tool. If you agree, and are willing/interested to find a solution that would be best for all, and to which all can agree. Checkout Desteni and Equal Money websites. We’re a group of  people that do agree that the system we live in currently is greatly flawed, and that we need to reestablish it, so it’ll support life, instead of fear and greed.
